ADA is the independent distribution and label services arm of Warner Music. They help break new artists and support industry legends. More than ever, music travels — crossing boundaries of geography, genre, and context. For almost 30 years, ADA has been building the pathways, technology, and relationships to make that possible. ADA’s logo is a strong asset, so we wanted to use it as a core element in the new brand system. First, we refined the stroke weight of the logo and made sure it was geometrically sound. Then we stripped it down to its most basic form: three concentric rings. By cropping each ring, we created a soundwave unique to ADA’s logo that could be paired with photography, typography, and used in motion. In addition to the sonic rings, other graphic elements include longitudinal sound waves, MIDI bar patterns, and audio bars. Collectively, the system is unapologetically bold and vibrant, reflecting the personality of ADA's team and the artists they represent.
