The Little Pig is an Italian restaurant and bar located in Brooklyn, NY. We helped develop an identity that marries playful and welcoming with refined and tight-nit.
We used Irregardless as the main typeface for the logotype, which pairs well with attitude of the illustrated pig: naive, a little silly, but confident. The "P" in the logotype is modified to have a pig tail, which allows it to be a symbol that can live on its own on things such as signage, merch, and matchbooks.
Cairoli is used as secondary type and body copy, which offers a nice classic contrast to the quirkiness of Irregardless. The combination of these two typefaces creates a feeling that is both playful and sophisticated, reflecting the personality of The Little Pig.
