Ryshon Jones is a Philadelphia-based artist who recently released a new EP "Overly Consumed." For his track "See It Through," I designed a visualizer for social media and Spotify. The goal was to capture the introspective nature of the lyrics, which speak to the anxiety that comes with taking inventory of oneself. This was achieved by combining a self-recorded video of Ryshon talking to himself with repetitive, overlapping, and overstimulating effects. This created a visualizer that is both reflective and overwhelming, capturing the duality of the song's message.
